1. Who are you and what do you do at Weischer.Cinema?

Former media planner and team leader, working in the media industry for almost 20 years, 50% as a mum and 50% in the back office team at Weischer.Cinema. In addition to film forecasts, I am responsible for various marketing projects and supervise our interns.

3. What makes the Swiss market so exciting for you?

The Swiss media landscape has been in a state of upheaval for some time now. It’s exciting to see which media can assert themselves and which will eventually disappear completely. We have a great variety here and every medium has its own special charm.

4. What makes cinema special for you?

Cinema is a quality medium. It’s consumed for leisure outside of working hours. For me, cinema gives the ability to “switch off your mind”, kick back and immerse yourself in another world. The advertisements have a high quality and are really paid attention to. I love the variety and wide selection of different genres. The big screen and the great quality of the sound help you to immerse yourself in the action.

'Dirty-Dancing' is certainly my ALL-TIME-FAVORITE-MOVIE. Today I especially love arthouse movies like 'La la Land', 'A Star is Born', 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri', 'Promising Young Woman' etc. It's really difficult to name a favourite as there are so many great films in this genre.

8. Your favourite actor?

It used to be Patrick Swayze and now it's Bradley Cooper and Daniel Brühl.

9. Which snack is your must-have during a good movie at the cinema?

M&M's and a Coke Zero
